Will he hate this?
We totally hear you! Most brides tell us that before they come in. Here’s the surprising thing: He usually ends up loving it. We keep the vibe light and low-pressure, and we start with moves that feel natural so he sees progress right away. By the end of the first visit, our grooms almost always say “Wait…that was actually fun.”
What if we have two left feet?
You’re our people! About 98% of our couples have zero dance experience when they start. We teach simple, elegant movement that reflects your relationship and matches your comfort level. You’ll be amazed at how much you can learn together—and how good it feels to have a plan.
Can you teach us dips and lifts?
Absolutely! Dips and lifts create those picture-perfect moments everyone remembers—and you’ll learn your first dip at your very first lesson. Safety is non-negotiable: we won’t have you practice lifts at home until you can enter and exit them safely in the studio. And if you prefer to keep both feet on the floor, we’ve got “big-moment” alternatives that look just as magical in photos.
How many lessons do we need?
It depends on your song, timeline, and how detailed you want your choreography to be. We start with a free intro, get clear on your vision, and then design a lesson plan that gets you performing your magical First Dance with confidence.
Where are you located?
We’re in Jacksonville (Baymeadows area, off Philips Highway) and regularly work with couples from Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Orange Park, and Fleming Island. There’s easy parking at the studio.
